About us
We didn't invent anything new.
We just stopped pretending that buying something was enough.
ROOTZ started from one specific annoyance: in our industry people promise a huge amount and explain almost nothing. Nobody tells you what you have to do, how long it takes, and what you can safely skip. We decided to start right there.

Where we started
The problem wasn't finding yet another product. It was that nobody explained how to use it.
Almost everyone who comes to us has already tried something else. Vials started and never finished. Supplements bought with the best intentions and forgotten in a drawer. Products picked up during a livestream, used for two weeks, then that's it.
When we looked closely at those stories, we realized they all looked alike, and that the point was never the product itself. It was that nobody had ever told those women how often, for how long, and above all what they could afford not to do. The instructions stopped at "apply to hair". Then you went home on your own, with a bottle and no idea what to expect.
So instead of starting from the formula, we started from the part everyone skips: the shampoo. We wanted a product that fits into a normal shower, in a normal week, for a woman who already has enough on her mind. If something takes three minutes, it gets done. If it takes twenty every evening, within a month nobody does it anymore — and that's nobody's fault.
ROOTZ is the answer to that one question: how do you build a treatment that a real person can actually see through to the end.
We've got nothing against any brand. What we've got something against is the habit of promising a lot and explaining little: that's the habit that made you stop believing.

Almost none of our customers found us through an ad. They came to us because someone told them about it. This one tells it in her own words:
"Before, my hair was dull and damaged. Then through a friend I discovered ROOTZ."
A customer review. Her words, not ours.
How we see it
Why what you tried before stopped halfway
The way we see it, three things have to come together. If one is missing, the result doesn't come — and in most cases it isn't the first one that was missing.
The product
You need a formula designed for the scalp, not just for the lengths. Our shampoo has Biotin (B7), castor seed oil, hydrolyzed keratin, rosemary extract, vitamin E and ginger extract. It's vegan. This part, usually, the others have too.
the shampoo
Pouring and rinsing isn't enough. It takes sixty seconds of massage with your fingertips, on the scalp, twice a week. That's sixty seconds: the time it takes to wash your face. Almost nobody tells you, and without this the first piece only works halfway.

The time
About three months. Not three weeks. It's the only time frame we use, on every page of this site, under every photo. The reason most people give up isn't that the product wasn't doing anything: it's that they expected to see it sooner.
If you've already tried other things, what you did wasn't wasted: now you already know what nobody had explained to you.
The protocol
The rest of your routine stays as it is.
The shampoo, and that's it.
You wet your hair, put the product on, massage for sixty seconds with your fingertips on the scalp, rinse. Twice a week. It doesn't get added to your routine: it takes the place of the shampoo you use now.
Three minutes in all, sixty seconds of which is massage.

Six seconds of shower, no commentary. It's not a review: it's the shampoo.
Mask and cap, if you feel like it.
Forty minutes of mask, another forty with the cap that holds the heat in. Once a week. It's the accelerator: it shortens the road, it doesn't replace it.
If you don't have eighty minutes this week, you skip it. Nothing happens and you don't start over.

The shampoo on its own works, and it is the shampoo. Mask and cap are an extra, and we wanted you to know that before you buy, not after.

The formula
Six ingredients you can name one by one
- Biotin (B7) — the vitamin that comes up most often when people talk about hair
- Castor seed oil — rich, thick, historically used on the scalp
- Hydrolyzed keratin — the protein hair is made of, in a form that spreads well
- Rosemary extract — the best-known herbal ingredient for hair
- Vitamin E — an antioxidant, among the most used in cosmetics
- Ginger extract — gives that slight feeling of warmth on the scalp
Vegan. Cosmetic, for external use. None of the substances above is a medicine and we have no intention of telling you about it as if it were.

Our rules
Four things you won't find on this site
1. No percentages.
Nowhere do we write "+ so many percent more hair". There's no study of ours that proves it, and until there is one, we don't write it. Instead of numbers we put up customers' photos, always about three months apart.
2. No comparisons with medicines.
ROOTZ is a cosmetic for external use. It doesn't cure, it doesn't prevent, it doesn't replace anything. If your problem is one worth talking to a doctor about, talk to a doctor: we sell shampoo, and we're not ashamed to say so.
3. No countdowns.
No timers that reset, no "only two left" made up on the spot, no "last day" every day. If we write that something is ending, it really ends.
4. Nobody telling you to throw out what you've already bought.
Our shampoo takes the place of your shampoo. Everything else you have in your bathroom is up to you, and it's none of our business.
And one thing we do say, even though it doesn't help us: it isn't fast. Before you can look at two photos side by side, about three months go by. If you were looking for something for next week, we're not it.
What our customers say
1,234 reviews, 4.74 out of 5 on average. Many of them reached us in chat, with the photo attached.
We didn't buy reviews and we didn't chase them with a discount code. Most of them arrived by the simplest route there is: someone wrote to us in chat to ask something, then came back months later to tell us how it had gone, often with the photo attached without us asking for it.
It's also the reason the average is 4.74 and not 5. A straight five on a hair product wouldn't exist: things work differently on different people, and the women who write to us say so.
If you're looking for a review from someone who didn't believe it at first: that's most of them.
"I've been using Rootz for a few weeks shampoo and mask it's the TOP worth every penny"
— Anto-N., comment on TikTok
These aren't photos we commissioned. They're five of the images that landed in our inbox, exactly as they are: the phone held crooked, the bathroom light, the mess around them.

A customer
Same bathroom, same light, same pose. In between, about three months.
It's the only time frame we use. Not because it sounds good, but because it's the one where a difference really shows in a photo. If you find "after two weeks" written somewhere on this site, it's a mistake of ours: write to us and we'll take it down.

Orders
What you order is in the warehouse. It ships within 12 hours.
We don't make to order and we don't send the package from the other side of the world when someone buys. The products are in our warehouse in Italy: the order is picked and shipped within 12 hours, and in Italy it arrives in 24/48 hours. You follow it step by step with the number that arrives by email.
- Free shipping over €50
- Klarna, 3 interest-free installments
- Order trackable from the Track your order page

Before you try
The fear isn't spending forty euros. It's being let down one more time.
We know because you write and tell us. The women who hesitate in front of this site almost never hesitate over the price: they hesitate over the idea of starting to hope again, and of finding themselves in three months exactly where they were before. It's a reasonable fear and we have no intention of kidding you about it.
All we can tell you is what we know:
- that the shampoo takes three minutes and almost everyone manages to keep it up;
- that you look at the comparison at about three months, and before that it's too soon;
- that 1,234 people have left a review, average 4.74;
- that many of them, once the bottle is finished, order another one. For us that's the signal that counts most.
ROOTZ isn't for you if:
- you expect to see something within a couple of weeks
- you're looking for a product that solves a medical condition: that's a different job, and it isn't ours
- you don't feel like giving it three minutes twice a week. Without the shampoo, the bottle on its own only works halfway

Another customer
Not the parting, the density. That's what changes first.
In this pair don't look at the parting: look at how thick it is around it. It's the first thing you notice in the photos that reach us, and it's also the thing that someone looking in the mirror every day can't see on her own. Here too, in between, there are about three months.
If you've read this far
You can take a look at what we make, or just write to us. We answer, not an auto-responder: it's the same inbox half the reviews you've read above came from.

We don't write to you often: when there's something to say about the treatment and when something changes in the kits.
ROOTZ is a line of cosmetics for external use. It is not a medicine, it does not cure medically-caused hair loss and it is not a substitute for the advice of a doctor or a dermatologist. The results shown are individual customer experiences and may vary from person to person.
